Our ideas are enabling poor communities to store precious water, generate vital energy and grow more food while giving people the power to build healthier and happier futures.

Elmago Concern Centre currently undertakes research programs/projects in East Africa. The field work projects are predominantly an active form of practical research to demonstrate a hypothesis - will a new approach work and how? Will a methodology successfully applied in one location or community be effective in a different one?

Successful demonstrations in our projects are used to create wider impact through 'scaling-up'these activities above and beyond the core capacity of our projects. We do not only need to know what project achieves or fails to achieve, but how project work was undertaken from the social, economic, environmental and technological perspectives.

In kenya

The Centre is a unique NGO and takes into consideration the type of people it deals with, approach it  employs and level of its operation and involvement started in Kenya in 2005 and with its headquarter in Nakuru, the NGO operates with and among the poorest people in the country.

Rev George O Odhiambo below is the representative.

The Centre, with first hand experience of the complexities of widowhood and vulnerability, was an integrated approach in dialling with the cases involving its beneficiaries, a method meant to use very minimal resources to deliver maximum services, a method which is being successfully employed and perfected by the organization.

The organization at all times and levels stresses on self-reliance and continuity of its activities, projects and programmes.  In its endeavor to achieve this important objective, we plans to put in place several micro-economic training and activities and education sponsorships meant to make its beneficiaries self-reliance and in the process ease the pressure for assistance seeking from it by beneficiaries.
